OBALOTAVA a.s.
The OBALOTAVA Company residing in Slovenská Ľubča was established when it was registered in the Commercial Register in 1990 as Tlačiareň OTAVA, PTC.
The start-up production spaces at the time were c. 200 m2. In 2005 the company was transformed into the OBALOTAVA, JSC., when the standard smaller offset printer for printing of flyers, calendars, postcards, etc. gradually transformed into a major production company focused especially on the production of packaging made of smooth a corrugated cardboard, as well as the development and production of board games. Currently we have more than 11 000 m2 of production, administrative and logistical spaces.

Offset printing
Offset
Offset is the most widely used printing technique in the world and it is almost universal in use. Offset printing allows the use of direct colors (PANTONE). Each of these colors has an exact numerical designation and an exact shade mixing ration, which is important e.g. when printing logos.
UV colors
Printing of non-absorbent materials
Our hybrid offset technologies allow for printing of various non-absorbent materials, such as plastics, metallic films, etc.
Metallic printing
Printing of metallic papers
Through the combination of UV printing and metallic foil we can create creative effects in the smallest details. This makes the packaging unique and more effective for the end user.
Hot foil stamping
Stamping using metallic foils
Stamping using metallic foils is a process in which, by hot stamping, the metallic film is transferred onto a solid surface, e.g. paper, cardboard, plastic, etc. This makes the packaging unique and eye-catching.
Our technologies
Cutting
Shape cutting
We achieve the desired shape of the packaging using the BOBST cutting machines, up to and including the A0 format. Thanks to industrial solutions during the design stage of a specific packaging, cutting tools with automatic removal of waste are manufactured for these technological machines.
Gluing
Folding and gluing
Folding and gluing lines are equipped with nozzle application of the glue and allow for gluing of packaging in as many as 6 points. We deliver packaging already folded and glued to allow for easy and quick handling.
